Last week we took a visit to the ‘Beauty in the Making’ exhibition hosted by GFSmith in collaboration with key creative institutions, including It’s Nice That, Monotype and the British Council’s Architecture, Design and Fashion department.
The event was held in Victoria House Basement, a 22,000 sq.ft. venue in Bloomsbury, the raw ceilings and exposed brick walls provided an excellent backdrop to the brightly coloured exhibition, combining talks and presentations from worldly creatives to instructional tutorials on the paper making process all exhibited on beautifully stacked vivid shades of GF Smith paper and chip board.
One room was full of podiums explaining the making of paper craft, very exciting for paper lovers like us!
Another highlight of the exhibition was the perfectly sized gift bag . . .packed with luscious paper stocks and finishing details all achievable on GF Smith papers.
Lots of look book ideas for Fan Optics and how best to present our brand on paper
Sadly this exhibition has now finished but I doubt it will be the last as I can imagine it went down a treat with the local creatives, for more information check out:
